Ever since Fujifilm announced the Instax Square film in April 2017, this increasingly popular medium has been making headway into mainstream usage. When Fujifilm announced the Instax SQUARE SQ10, many users were left scratching their heads at its apparent “digital-analogue” nature. Lomography quickly pounced upon the occasion and announced the Lomo’Instant Square, a fully analogue camera to be used with the Instax Square film. Not to be left behind, Fujifim announced the Instax SQUARE SQ6 in May 2018, which returned to its roots with a fully analogue camera to boot.

One of our first hikes together as Damianwithsandra was along the Southern Ridges, a sprawling 10 kilometre stretch through the heart of Singapore, starting from Harbourfront and ending at Kent Ridge! In our first attempt, we covered the first few kilometres, and even documented our adventure in one of the earliest posts on our website!

Hi everyone,
To usher in the new year, we decided to go to the Singapore Botanic Gardens to see what we could capture at Singapore’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site! We armed ourselves with a number of cameras, including the Fujifilm X-T10 (with the Kamlan f/1.1, 50mm lens), a modified Land 180 Camera (with a Lomo’Instant Wide back) and a Seagull TLR (for 120 film)! Although it may seem a little overwhelming to possess so many cameras for a single trip, the key is to use the right camera for the right occasion!

This week we decided to share some of our shots taken with our Mamiya Universal Press (“MUP”)! This amazing medium-format rangefinder camera (with interchangeable lens and film backs) have been mentioned numerous times in our previous entries visiting the iconic Rochor Centre, reviewing the original MUP when we first got it, and at the National Day Parade 2017 (Rehearsal)! This time, we decided to dedicate a post to our test shots, using a modified electronic Instax Wide back!

If you are a tourist or a local who wish to explore the sights and sounds which make Singapore Singapore (and you also wish to engage in quite a lot of walking!) then we would highly recommend the Jubilee Walk! The government-initiated trail consists of over 20 landmarks, spanning 8 kilometres in the heart of downtown Singapore. It took over 3 days for us to complete (owing to the fact that the weather has been pretty unpredictable recently), and having done so we decided to share our images captured at these iconic landmarks.

The special Gallery Feature by Yayoi Kusama at the National Gallery has been going on since early June, and is set to wrap up on 3rd September 2017.
