Some keen-eyed readers may have noticed that despite featuring many cameras so far, the Holga camera has never been featured in our website. To be honest, we did not own one (till now); we acknowledge that the Holga is a timeless classic camera which helped revitalise the interest of street/film photography in Asia (and beyond) since the early 1980s.

Goodbye 2016, and hello 2017! We would like to wish all our readers a blessed and exciting new year ahead!
2016 has been a great year for us in our burgeoning photography interest: we have had new cameras, accessories and lens to try out and add to our collection, and our loyal readers will surely have noticed that! We have expanded our use of films from instax mini films to Impossible Project films, packfilm and 35mm film, and we hope to see this list grow in the future!

Continuing with the spirit of Christmas, we decided to dedicate yet another entry to Christmas lights! As always, we have chosen a different mode of photography; returning to digital photography, but with a new set of lens that we were very keen to try! We returned to the streets of Orchard (last featured in our first Night Photography entry), where we hoped to capture some stunning bokeh photos with Lomography’s Petzval 58 Bokeh Control Art Lens!

Light painting is one of our keen interests, and we certainly have had fun composing long exposure shots with bright lights, and these lights can be produced with a variety of sources! In this entry, we are sharing about the different instruments for light photography, and how we captured some of our shots.

In September 2016, Fujifilm announced the release of their latest instax mini film product: the Fujifilm instax mini Monochrome film (“Monochrome film”)!
As there are many reviews floating around about this new product, we thought that we would get the film and write about our first impressions about using this film. Further, we have noted how different cameras and developers affect how the chemical spread and the ‘colour’ shown on the film. We should also mention that this entry is not a review; rather, it is an exposition of our snapshots and results!
