Sandra’s Birthday!!!

So Friday (22 January to be precise heh) was someone’s birthday!

One half of Damianwithsandra grew a year older (I’ll leave you and your snooping senses to find out how old she turned). It was in our own unique fashion that we celebrated her birthday!

Having perused the Internet for a good steakhouse, our choice (or Damian’s, rather) was Les Bouchons, a realistic Parisian steakhouse! It was difficult to keep a pair of hungry souls away from our dinner spot but nevertheless, we found time to enjoy the sights and sounds around Ann Siang Hill!

National Gallery Singapore

The former Supreme Court and City Hall of Singapore was recently redesigned as the National Gallery, now housing art exhibitions by South East Asian artists. With its enthralling history as the landmark for the judiciary and government, the National Gallery is a place worth visiting for sure!

Christmas Market at CHIJMES

Fresh off our trip to Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas Wonderland (check out our entry here), we decided to scour Singapore for more Christmas Markets, and lo, CHIJMES was having one! We have never visited CHIJMES together before, so it was a great opportunity to visit yet another historical location and enjoy the Christmas vibe!

Chinatown- Mooncake Festival Lights 2015

The time for the traditional Chinese Mooncake Festival has arrived (and gone haha)!

On 2nd October, we decided to make a trip to Chinatown to enjoy some of the Mooncake Festival lightings by going on a photography adventure! Together with Sandra’s best friend, SK, we took some photos with the Lomo Instant Camera.

Here are some of our favourite shots taken (which was scanned)! Some did not turn out the way we envisioned, but we are very thrilled with most of the shots in any case.
